Carl Bianco

Carl is a local landscape artist, working in acrylic on canvas.  He lives in South Oxfordshire, where the beauty of the countryside provides a wealth of inspiration.  

Having originally trained and worked as an archaeologist, Carl changed careers to the world of visual effects in the mid '90s, working on a wide range of films over the years, including the Harry Potter series, Warhorse, and Paddington.

In addition to a career in digital art, Carl has always enjoyed traditional drawing and painting.  He is particularly inspired by the local landscape, and the beauty of the river, spending many happy hours exploring the glorious countryside around Goring on Thames.  He also has a deep love of the South Downs, and of the wilder landscapes of Snowdonia, Cumbria and Dartmoor.
